Exporail, the Canadian Railway Museum, located in Saint-Constant on the South Shore of Montreal is only 20 minutes from downtown Montreal and offers free parking. The site covers an area of 55 acres on the border between the towns of Saint-Constant and Delson.
Open year round, the Angus Pavilion features the Reliving Canada’s Railway AdventureReliving Canada’s Railway Adventure permanent exhibition, as well as guided tours, a model train exhibit room, an underground observation pit, unique in North America.
The CN exhibit room, the gift shop, the mezzanine and the coffee shop Le tramway completed the installation.

There are three train stations located on the outdoor site : Hays Station, featuring the From Everywhere To You, exhibition, Barrington Station featuring telegraph demonstrations and the Delson Station featuring the Roussillon, Cradle of The Canadian Railroad exhibition.
The Discovery Trail and the station gardens complete the route leading to the stations, the open storage Building No. 5.
The outdoor site is open from mid-May to the end of October and usually closes one hour prior to the Exporail’s regular closing time. Outdoor rides are available mainly during the summer season and schedules vary.
