Biographical sketch :
Dr. Mark Greenwald was a collector of railway passes.
Custodial history :
The collection was transferred to the Association archives by the collector.
Scope and content :
Dr. Greenwald's collection bears witness to the
existence of various Canadian and American railway
companies that operated between 1859 and 1985.
Included, amongst others, are the Minneapolis, St.
Paul & Sault Ste. Marie, the Moncton & Buctouche
Railway, the New Brunswick Railway , the Quebec
Central Railway Company, the Quebec Montreal and
Southern Railway Company, the Algoma Central, the
Canadian Northern, the Canadian Pacific Railway,
and the Grand Trunk Railway System.
The
collection consists of railway company passes,
stored in albums.
