A Railway Birthday

Come and celebrate your child’s birthday by spending the day at Exporail. Along with a Museum guide, your child and his guests can pretend to be railroad workers.

They will be given access to three vehicles in the Grand Gallery. They will experiment operating no. 9400 a diesel electric locomotive and no. 713 a steam locomotive. While visiting the caboose they will learn how railroad workers lived aboard a train. Depending on the season, they can ride our outdoor miniature railway (from March to December) and hop on a period streetcar (mid-May to October)

Birthdays tours are only available Saturday or Sunday mornings and last approx.1 hour. After the guided tour, your guests can stay and explore our entire facility and discover more railway heritage.
