Exporail’s Documentation Centre houses over 7,000 books and specialized journals that relate to the history of rail transportation in Canada from 1773 to the present day.
The centre is open to the public Mondays to Thursdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the summer season (closed between noon and 1:00 p.m.).
The remainder of the year, members of the public are invited to contact the archivist to schedule a visit to the centre.
The Documentation Centre does not lend its books. However, the list of titles kept at the Documentation Centre may be consulted in the web-based Biblio-Tek database or directly on site.
Members of the public may make photocopies or place orders on site. Photocopies are charged at 25¢ per page.
