Railway Ghosts, some Halloween fun

From October 13 to 29, 2017

Like every year, before Halloween, ghosts, skeletons, bats and spiders have taken over Exporail, the Canadian Railway Museum. They are even lurking in some of the vehicles. Beware! You never know who might sneak up on you in the Grand Gallery or what you might see floating through some of the train cars… Visitors will be greeted with eerie sounds in a haunted train station atmosphere.

This activity allows families to rediscover the collection with a new perspective and in spite of the appearances, will put a smile upon visitors’ faces rather than scare them! The perfect outing for children who are also invited to create their very own Halloween mask in a train car.

After discovering the largest collection of railroad equipment in Canada, visitors have the opportunity to take a ride onboard a vintage restored Montreal streetcar (1928) as well as the outdoor miniature railway. On Sunday afternoons, the Exporail passenger train is also available (until October 29).

SCHEDULE

Until October 29, 2017 : from Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
